AI Venture Forge
We’re proud to announce that Timbi has been selected as one of 10 startups in the inaugural AI Venture Forge accelerator, a programme by Portershed and the Western Development Commission to power the next generation of AI-first companies in Ireland.
Timbi Selected for AI Venture Forge
We’re proud to share that Timbi has been selected as one of 10 startups for the AI Venture Forge accelerator, an exciting new programme supporting early-stage AI-first companies across Ireland. The accelerator is led by Portershed and the Western Development Commission, with support from Enterprise Ireland and the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
Chosen from a competitive pool of over 100 applicants, this recognition validates our vision for ethical, human-centered AI that enables impactful innovation, especially in public funding and research.
A National Platform with Global Reach
AI Venture Forge is designed to fast-track the development of responsible, scalable AI products. But what sets it apart is its global mindset and deep technical backing.
The programme is backed by strategic partnerships with:
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) – giving access to MIT’s Orbit platform, an AI-powered system to support entrepreneurial growth.
Irish Centre for High-End Computing (ICHEC) – offering access to Ireland’s most advanced computing infrastructure, vital for AI model training and scaling.
Participants will also join international trips to:
Station F in Paris, Europe’s leading startup campus, for networking, workshops, and ecosystem immersion.
San Francisco, the heart of global tech, to explore fundraising and partnerships in the US AI and venture ecosystem.
Why This Matters for Timbi
At Timbi, we’re reimagining how public funding is accessed, combining AI-powered tools, human expertise, and strategic insight to simplify the complex processes around EU programmes.
Joining AI Venture Forge will help us:
Strengthen our technical foundations with access to world-class AI infrastructure
Test and validate new features in collaboration with mentors and peers
Expand our international network and position Timbi for European and global growth
We see this accelerator not just as a milestone, but as a launchpad.
What’s Next?
Over the 8-week programme, we’ll co-develop with experts, pitch at demo day, and prepare for the next phase of growth — building products that are transparent, secure, and truly useful for the people solving real-world challenges.
We’re thankful to the teams at Portershed, WDC, ICHEC, and MIT and energized by the opportunity to build alongside the most forward-thinking AI startups in Ireland.
Follow our journey, and let’s shape the future of AI responsibly, together.
