From Inclusive Training to Equitable Care

Based in Italy, Fill the Box is an accredited healthcare training institution recognized for its high standards in continuing education (ECM) and professional development. With a multidisciplinary team of over 100 expert lecturers and an ISO-certified quality management system, the institution has built a strong reputation for scientific rigor and social responsibility. Its work spans sensitive areas of public health, from sexual and reproductive care to chronic pain and infertility, delivered through evidence-based, inclusive education.

Advancing health equity across Europe

Fill the Box joined the HARMONY project to address one of Europe’s most urgent challenges: ensuring equitable healthcare access for migrants and refugees. The project, spanning six European countries, aims to remove structural, informational, and cultural barriers that prevent vulnerable populations from receiving adequate care.

Timbi supported Fill the Box in aligning its expertise in medical education with EU research and innovation goals, helping define its role, develop the impact narrative, and prepare the funding proposal. Through this collaboration, Fill the Box expanded its reach from national training programs to European-level capacity building.

Empowering healthcare through collaboration

Within HARMONY, Fill the Box contributes to developing digital training platforms, simulation-based learning, and train-the-trainer modules that equip healthcare workers, social operators, and mediators with the skills to deliver culturally sensitive, inclusive care. The project promotes cooperation across diverse EU health systems and migrant communities, strengthening cross-border understanding and improving long-term integration outcomes.
